I've been trying to find the PERFECT navigation for this site. After working on it for four days straight, after hours of Java and Javascript, with pulldown menu's, cascading menus and navigation bars, I've FINALLY used the good old icon with branching hyperlinks. I only have two because I've spend too much time on this navigation.

Alright tonight at 10pm I've been working on this sponsor thing and Lycos seems to have a pretty decent 3 cents per click one. I've added an extra frame to get ready to load the ads. The main window is a little thinner but it makes it look more symmetrical. The journal text size has been lowered a font to compensate on the tremendous space the journal is taking. I finally found a counter @ beseen.com.

Today I tried to find a good counter but the one with FrontPage doesn't work and I've inserted this page in a number of search engines. Wow... according to Tripod I've got 89 hits yesterday. I sure with I can find that counter quickly. I'm thinking of adding some sponsors so I can support a shorter web address without the Tripod server. I'll see what I can do about both the sponsors and the counter. Keep signing that Guestbook I just got!

I started working on the main page today. I've created a standard for graphic style in titles. They all will have the glossy look with the black, blue, and white fade. I can't get the animation for the banner to import onto Dreamweaver so I'm going to scrap that idea. The frame set is nice and I like the color scheme. I'll have this thing up and running in no time... I hope.

I just opened Dreamweaver and started on this very page. I'm hoping this can be an online Castro Valley, which I know is a big ambition, but with some exposure, this site could do it. I'm going to focus on interaction with people online through this website. I'll try to feature chats, message boards, and online profiles for people to get to know other Castro Valley people. I'll open up a place just for us Creeksiders to host as a little Creekside online, the students way where you can talk about teachers, friends, problems or whatever you want to. Created the main logo, looks nice with that glass effect. It's getting really late and so I'll continue tomorrow.
